Topping Off the Academic Science Building
Arts & Sciences Dean Mark Lawrence Kornbluh speaks at the Topping Off Ceremony for the new Academic Science Building. The ceremony signifies the end of the structural phase and the beginning of the remaining phases of the construction process. The Academic Science Building is scheduled to open Fall 2016.
Mathskeller: Math Resource Center
The Mathskeller is located in CB63, which is next to the loading dock in the basement of White Hall Classroom Building. Open 9AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, Mathskeller is a place for any UK student to come get free tutoring, no appointment necessary. Tutors are available for students in 100-level math courses, and have excellent knowledge of math, since they are math graduate students, professors, and math majors at University of Kentucky. Many of the math Professors for 100 level classes at UK even hold their office hours in the Mathskeller.

Department of Biology Chair Vincent Cassone and Department of Chemistry Chair Mark Meier recently visited the Academic Science Building construction site to discuss the ways in which the building will transform science education on campus.
